Fruit pink to blue Syzygium
Branchlets 4-angular or 4-winged, with a pocket on either side just above each node. Leaves elliptic to obovate 3–10 cm long, 10–30 mm wide; oil glands usually faint. Fruit deep pink to red. Shrub to small tree. Coast and adjacent plateaus. RF. Fl. spring–summer. Brush Cherry Syzygium australe
