Shrub or small tree to 10 m high, glabrous. Leaves lanceolate to broad-lanceolate, coriaceous, 2–4 cm long, entire or sometimes toothed, alternate to irregularly opposite or whorled. Flowers c. 1 cm long, in axillary racemes 3–6 cm long. Perianth regular, pale cream, c. 8 mm long; segments ± equally revolute. Anthers with a short filament. Hypogynous glands ± connate. Ovary sessile. Pollen presenter conical. Fruit ± fleshy, with a hard endocarp, often bluish, c. 12 mm long. Minnamurra Falls. RF. Fl. spring
